Introduction to Overnight Hiking for Beginners and Strong Daughters – Wise…

March 4 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Secure your spot HERE.

This information session will cover 2 parts to our Wise Women Walking program for 2020 – Overnight Hiking for Beginners and Strong Daughters.

Are you wanting to try Overnight Hiking? Want to learn more about what gear you might need? What food to pack? What clothes you will need?

Perhaps you are looking for a group to try this with even if you don’t have “the gear”?

Our Wise Women Walking program for 2020 includes Overnight Hiking and 2 Night/3 Day Hikes with the chance to carry a full pack with all the gear you need to be self sufficient.

This is an opportunity to learn from those who have knowledge and experience walking in SA, interstate and overseas on pack carrying journeys.

Come and learn all about the “how to” in a calm, supportive and encouraging space.

So get excited, bring your questions and join us for a fun evening of outdoor chat!

This info session will give you the opportunity to learn more about how to get prepared, what kind of basic gear you might need and what kind of trails and walks you can explore on extended hikes in SA and beyond.

We all start somewhere with our hiking journey – and you can begin with us 🙂

Have you heard about our Strong Daughters program?

These are overnight hiking experiences offered for girls aged 9-14 and their Mum/Aunty/Grandmother/Female Care Giver in both April and September. Strong Daughters is designed specifically for pre teen/tween girls to encourage bonding, resilience while learning outdoor skills with a peer mentor and our outdoor leaders. Tina, founder of Strong Daughters will share her journey creating the program and also what to expect if you are keen to join us this year. This will be shared after our Overnight Hike for Beginners session.

Our Info Nights are FREE however to secure your spot a deposit of $10pp is payable. This is refunded to you when you attend our session or you can choose to make this a donation to our chosen charity MOSH Australia. You can also increase your donation if you like at time of booking. If you would like a receipt for your donation please let us know on your registration form. No refunds are possible for no shows. Thank you for your support 🙂
