Yurrebilla Trail

Self-Guided

The Yurrebilla Trail self-guided walk is Adelaide’s best kept secret. This spectacular trail starts from Belair National Park and weaves its way through the Adelaide Hills for 56km, before finishing at the River Torrens. It passes through beautiful bushland with abundant wildlife. Seeing Koalas, Kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas and emu’s living free and wild is just one experience this trail provides.

The Yurrebilla Trail passes through 6 of Adelaide’s premier National Parks and Conservation Parks. Taking you up close to spectacular waterfalls, diverse flora and fauna, early pioneering buildings and the summit of Mount Lofty. The view from the top of Mount Lofty provides the greatest vista of Adelaide. You will experience the best trail walking Adelaide has to offer, just in a few days.

Nearby attractions include Echo Tunnel, Waite Tree Swing, Waterfall Gully, Cleland Wildlife Park, Mount Lofty Summit, Giles Ruin, Norton Summit Pub, Morialta Falls (all 3 waterfalls), and Blackhill Summit.

Packages are suitable for solo walkers, couples, families and walking groups. The larger your group the cheaper per person, as pricing works on a sliding scale. Your walking package includes a comprehensive walking kit with interesting facts and maps, comfortable trail transfers, and your choice of accommodation over night. We can also supply you with fresh meals or lightweight hiking food (preservative free) which is manufactured and packaged here in South Australia, with the majority sourced from South Australian farmers <view lightweight menu>.

So treat or challenge yourself, and experience wellness amongst nature in the Adelaide Hills.

Testimonials

“Late March I enjoyed two full days of Yurrebilla hiking in the Adelaide Hills. Lisa and Ian’s assistance was invaluable for rides, lightweight food, maps, and local knowledge. Without them, I would not have seen so many remote and mixed use areas on my first visit to the region. I appreciate Big Heart Adventure’s flexibility for visitor wishes/abilities and unexpected changes”
