Description
What to expect when walking at night on trails
Your senses awaken more when you bushwalk at night. You experience nature in a different light. Night walking is also a great way to get a nature boost, to de-stress and to help you sleep. So, to obtain this feeling we head to the Adelaide Hills monthly throughout the year to walk at night.
Locations we walk change each month, extending north to Cobbler Creek and south to Sturt Gorge. Generally each starting point will be a 30 minute drive from Adelaide’s city centre. All locations are on Kaurna or Peramangk Country.
Each night walk has 2 qualified, experienced and super friendly leaders supporting you. They will ensure you have a safe, fun and connecting night-time adventure.

Private and corporate event enquiries welcome. Location and duration can be customised to suit your needs.
Full Moon Hikes
These howling adventures operate under every full moon. As these night walks in Adelaide occur only once a month spots fill up fast.
We aim to maximise views of the moon during the hike. Plus, you will explore Adelaide’s bush trails on routes that are different to our regular day time walks. The trails we use are lesser known. Please note that Full Moon Hikes require a torch as it will be dark even under a full moon.
The following items are required:
- Headtorch or torch
- Boots/walking shoes with grip
- Water (1-2 Ltrs)
- Wet weather gear (dependent on forecast)
- Personal medication
- Warm clothing (dependent on forecast)
- Hiking poles (optional)
Please note:
Weather, group member welfare and a range of circumstances outside our control can mean last minute changes to our route are necessary once on the trail
