Overview
Come and learn map reading, how to use a compass, and how to find your way on trails that you’re not so familiar with. Learning these skills is important if you like venturing away from built-up urban areas. They are also skills that will help you navigate through everyday life. The purpose of these workshops is to empower you, providing you with skills and knowledge so that you feel more confident and safe on the trails.
Workshops
Level 1 – An introduction to basic navigation
Level 2 – Reinforcing ‘Level 1’ skills plus building on to more advanced skills
Each navigation skills workshop is undertaken in the field at Belair National Park. The workshops are also limited to 10 participants. Being a small group allows one on one teaching and time for questions and personal assistance. Please note: if Belair NP is unavailable then Para Wirra Conservation Park will be used.
If you have additional needs please connect with us, we’re committed to being inclusive and accessible.
