May 17

Secure your spot HERE.

Are you wanting to fast track completing the Heysen Trail?

Tired of trying to do it alone or with the added annoyance of car shuffling or backtracking?

Did you know we have a 3 year walking program that will allow you to complete sections on day walks, 2 day weekend trips, 3 day weekend trips and 8 day trips?

We complete stages on Saturdays and Sundays 2 x weekends a month in 2020 from May to September. We offer 3 day trips in October and between Burra and Quorn in 2021. In 2022 we will offer 8 day trips as we finish up in Parachilna.

You can complete as many sections as you like over the 3 year period. It is up to you!

You just need a good level of fitness, are keen to walk with a small group (max 20) and have all the logistics looked after.

Our professional, Heysen experienced leaders hold Remote Area First Aid and Outdoor Leadership qualifications, plus we have a support vehicle on standby.

These trips include return bus transport from Adelaide CBD (and enroute pickups if applicable) plus you have the option to make a weekend of it and support rural and regional communities by staying in accommodation – we can assist you to book accommodation and help match you to a same gender roomie if you need. You can even camp if you want. Our bus holds eskies to carry any perishable food items you may need while staying for the weekend.

You will see booking options below allowing you to choose 1 or 2 x day walks or the option to stay for the weekend with the group and our leaders.

Saturday 16th of May – Cape Jervis to Cobbler Campground 14km

Sunday 17th of May – Cobbler Campground to Tapanappa 13km

Note that the 2 Day Ticket Option includes transport between local accommodation (Cape Jervis) and group dinner location, access to eskies to store perishable items and having our leaders present for this weekend stay.
