Visitors to Adelaide can now easily experience some of the best nearby accessible attractions including Cleland Wildlife Park, Mount Lofty Summit and Glenelg Beach, plus a wheelchair accessible scenic drive through the City Centre and along the coast. If you’re looking for a small group tour (up to 15 people) to see the best of Adelaide in a day or half day, then our shore excursion is for you. If you or someone you’re travelling with also requires additional needs, then our tour may be perfect.
Optional full-day itinerary
Our scenic drive to Cleland Wildlife Park passes by the famous Adelaide Oval and through Adelaide’s City Centre and surrounding parklands. You will see why Adelaide is recognised as one of only 2 National Park capital cities in the world. Then it’s a short drive up into the hills to Mount Lofty Summit Lookout for a quick aerial view over the city. Next stop is the Cleland Wildlife Park, only a 5 minutes drive away. Spend time here, relaxing amongst natural bushland and meeting the Australian animals that call this place home.
Your return journey includes a stop at Glenelg Beach, Adelaide’s premier seaside location. Choose to swim (there is accessible beach matting on the beach) or visit the main shopping strip for that unique gift or refreshing drink. We then drive along the very scenic coastline all the way back to the Cruise Ship Passenger Terminal.
Or you pick the spots and activities, and we’ll make it work. Itineraries may include other destinations such as Adelaide’s Central Market, McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley, Hahndorf, and can include guided walks. Our bus features space for up to 2 wheelchairs and 11 seated passengers or 15 seated passengers. We cater for passengers using both manual and automatic wheelchairs up to 300Kg weight, please check with us about your needs so that we can confirm prior to travel. Bookings include our tour bus, driver and an English speaking tour guide.
